Redo Magazine Review Page

When we blogged our last magazine review page we realised that parts of the review page was missing - the bottom half under the line. So we went back and fixed it and above is the final review page.

Magazine Review Page Part 2

Due to the amount of Journalism (as we didn't want to over complicate what is written), we felt that it was best to create a single page spread rather then a two page spread. Allowing the readers to not be put of with the text being placed all over the place. We worked together to keep it to our colour scheme which was set for our poster, and we was also capable to get better stills from our film as we were able to use the Mac.

Final movie poster

Here is the movie poster which i created to meet the improvement suggestions. I changed the amount of stars; lighted the tagline (due to using a PC instead of iMac i was unable to keep the font of the tag line used previously.); removed the tick from the trainers.

Poster

This was the final poster which i created and presented to my group. They all enjoyed it and liked the way i used the green from our colour scheme as the background of the movie poster. The feedback i received from the group and other people was to change the amount stars on the poster from four stars to five stars; to change the colour of the tagline to a more vibrant green which is already used on the poster, as the colour now blends into the background; to remove the nike tick from the trainers and this counts as advertising and is also eye-catching.

Poster Ideas

These are four different posters which i created following the format of what the group asked for. I followed the colour scheme which we chose as a group and used these colours in a variety of ways.I used this as a basic background allowing me to choose one and develop it further.

Running Photos

Today me and Shorai had to go outside and re-create the picture of Shorai in the forest. We was able to re-create this picture within college premises which was a bonus for us. The reason we had to re-create this image was when trying to grab this as a still from our short film the foot was very blurry and unnoticeable. I took plenty of pictures to gives us a wider choice of selection shots and also different angles of the same shot.

Photoshoot

These are the photos we took during our photo-shoot. We prefer the photos of the eye which was taken in black and white and it gives a more serious effect and it goes with our colour scheme.
