As a group we decided to use special effects in the scene following the girl freeing her hands from being tied up. This involves bruises from where the tape was because it is so tight. The scratches are to represent that cutting the tape with sharp objects not seeing where you are cutting, you know you are going to scratch yourself because you are blind from what you are doing.
I would be the one doing the special effects in the group, so we decided that i will start practicing now as i learnt how to do the bruises five years ago, but have not done it since and also i have never done the scratches before. So the group does understand that if i am unable to do it, we will leave it out of he film. Which will be unfortunate but we do not want to use special effects that look really fake and stands out in the film because it looks so fake.
